Accumulator Betting Tool
See how multiplied selection odds compound into a combined accumulator return.
How to Use This Calculator
- Choose the odds format you intend to work in (Decimal, Fractional, or American)
- Specify the total stake you are committing
- Supply the odds for every selection in the bet
- Mark the outcome of each leg as Won, Lost, or Void
- Use the + button to bring additional selections into the slip
- Review the combined odds, the total return, and the resulting profit
Note: A single losing selection brings down the whole accumulator. Void selections are settled at odds of 1.0, meaning that portion is effectively refunded.
Formula
Combined Odds = Odds₁ x Odds₂ x Odds₃ x … (all decimal odds multiplied)
Total Return = Stake x Combined Odds
Profit = Total Return - Stake
Void legs are removed from the calculation (odds become 1.0). If any leg loses, the total return is $0.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does an accumulator bet work?
An accumulator, often shortened to acca, rolls several selections together into a single wager. Every selection has to win before the bet returns anything, and because the odds are multiplied together, a modest stake can produce a substantial payout.
What is the effect of a void leg on the bet?
When a selection is voided — say a fixture is postponed — that leg drops out of the accumulator, and the bet runs on through the remaining legs at correspondingly reduced odds.
Is there a ceiling on the number of selections?
No firm limit exists in principle, though most bookmakers restrict accumulators to roughly 20 selections. Two selections form a double, three a treble, and anything from four upwards is usually termed an accumulator.
