Favorite vs Underdog
The favorite is expected to win (lower odds, shorter price), while the underdog is expected to lose (higher odds, longer price).
Futures Bet

Hedging
Betting the opposite side of a position you already hold in order to guarantee a profit or trim your potential loss whatever the result.
Hook
The half-point attached to a spread or total (for example -3.5 rather than -3) that rules out the possibility of a push.
Implied Probability

Juice / Vigorish (Vig)

Prop Bet (Proposition Bet)
